Meet our Vet – Mark Goodman Milne, BVM&S MRCVS

Mark graduated as a veterinary surgeon from Edinburgh University with Distinction in 1992. For over 20 years, he worked in general practice in Yorkshire, eventually becoming co-owner of a large mixed practice based in York. In the last 8 years he has lived in France with his family and their tortoiseshell cat Stella. He has taken a variety of consultancy roles and regularly locums as a small animal vet at a variety of UK clinics. He has presented at conferences and run small group workshops on client care and communication.

During his time in practice, he had broad clinical interests as this was needed to offer a good standard of care to all his patients. He is a member of the International Society of Feline Medicine and recently has developed a close interest in feline medicine, particularly the diagnosis and treatment of Feline Infectious Peritonitis. He is passionate about client care and communication and really wants to help solve his client’s problems. With over 30 years of veterinary experience, he is ideally placed to help support you through the challenges of diagnosis and treatment of your cat.

On a personal level, he loves learning new skills and has a real love for languages – his French and Spanish abilities are always improving but for the moment this service will be offered in English only!

When asked which animals he likes best , he has always had a love for goats, fish and of course his favourites –  cats.
